Morristown, New Jersey based Regal Wine Imports is one of the nation's leading wine and spirt distributors with 27 states in its distribution portfolio. As the exclusive importer and distributor of Luis The Marinero sangria, Regal Wine asked us to develop a focused launch strategy to promote their brand and new wine to be sold in the U.S. to consumers and distributors.

Regal Wine requested our help build its brand awareness for its newest offering in the United States; Luis The Marinero Sangria. The deliverable for the campaign required a drive for immediate demand and deliver measurable results to the bottom line within a small budget.
With a campaign running from Memorial Day to Labor Day, we wanted to develop a campaign reminiscent of a Spanish summer. To accomplish the correct feeling we developed a campaign centered around a custom illustration that harkened to the Spanish Abstract period of art.
With no marketing campaign benchmarks for comparison, we tested multiple digital avenues for advertising Luis The Marinero including programmatic, Pandora, and Facebook. As the campaign progressed we shifted strategies to capitalize on the best performing platforms. The main driver of the advertising was a contest asking people to post Instagram pictures of their summer parties for a chance to win an authentic Spanish sangria pitcher.
To help increase engagement with the campaign, and to keep the advertising fresh, we quickly shot and developed a video for Facebook advertising that led to a wave of increased clicks.
