Wendy’s entire career—spanning nearly 30 years—has been spent in the agency business. After graduating from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing, she moved to New York City and was immediately immersed in the exciting and fast-paced environment of some of advertising’s most legendary agencies. After tenures at Bozell, Grey Direct, and Ogilvy One in New York, she moved to Salt Lake City and launched the direct marketing division for EvansGroup in 1994. Following EvansGroup’s purchase by Publicis, she served as President and Managing Director for Relationship Marketing in the U.S. In her spare time, she also earned a Master of Arts in English Literature degree from Fordham University.
Over the course of her career, Wendy’s passion for leveraging proven direct marketing techniques along with the latest technology platforms has resulted in highly successful and groundbreaking programs for diverse companies such as Nestle, United Healthcare, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, AT&T, Abbott Pharmaceuticals, and American Express. Since cofounding Redirect in 2004, Wendy has focused on helping businesses grow with cost-efficient, results-oriented solutions. Her passion for developing strategic and creative programs is surpassed only by her focus on delivering to the bottom line. She’s worked with many diverse industry and national leaders, including Pluralsight, TCBY, Unishippers, Philosophy, Deseret Book, and The Brain Institute at the University of Utah. She has particularly deep experience in healthcare and hospital marketing, and currently works with four hospital systems around the country. Wendy believes that everything is better in Hawaii, and spends as much time as possible at the Redirect office on Oahu. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, learning how to cook, and listening to any kind of music—except country. She also serves as a board member for several nonprofit organizations and was named one of Utah’s 50 Most Powerful Women.
