Katie has been working behind the scenes at Redirect since its inception in 2004. She graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication and a minor in English. Prior to joining Redirect, she worked in finance, public relations, and nonprofit management. She particularly enjoyed the research and advocacy work she did for the SADS Foundation and her stint as a stay-at-home mom.
She is committed to promoting a professionally laid-back culture at Redirect and there are very few people with whom she would rather spend time than her talented, generous, and funny co-workers. Although her title is Controller, she likes to say that she uses it ironically. Her primary roles at Redirect are managing HR and the finances. Katie loves walking her beloved dogs, playing with her brilliant and perfect grandson, and chasing down whatever crazy adventure her fun-loving husband, James, cooks up. She is happiest with a good book (history yes!), a glass of wine, and plans to bike to a good restaurant for dinner.
