placemedia was founded in 2013 and is a fully automated self-service portal for national television advertisers. The system we developed enables users to help monetize their programming across all networks and build specific campaigns to reach their targeted demographics.
What We Did
- Content Development
As a new company solving a niche problem, placemedia needed to develop a public facing, introduce themselves to the digital advertising world, and continue to expand its marketing efforts to help them grow their message.
Designed to represent "talk bubbles" and the conversations an advertiser can have with a viewer once the market of targeted advertising is unfragmented, the visual identity utilizes iconography and color to represent the brand.
Rubik's Cube Company Introduction Campaign
To kick off the launch of placemedia, we developed a high-impact mail piece that was targeted at advertising buyers. We began the campaign with teaser postcards, Ad Age advertisements, and online banners that helped introduce the messaging of the brand, then on the day of launch we sent out a high-impact piece that announced the launch of the company and the services it offers.
Throughout many different iterations of the companies' business objectives, we helped them tell their story of aggregation and automation and programmatic television media buying. Telling this complicated story is not an easy task. To help with the heavy lifting we wrote and directed these entertaining company overview videos to help tell the young companies' story and explain their place in this emerging market.
